The Avondale Neighborhood is off Buck Lake Road on the east side of Tallahassee, Florida. Our homeowners are proud of our neighborhood, with its profusion of live oaks, azaleas, and crepe myrtles. Leon County has recognized the Avondale Neighborhood as its Neighborhood of the Year in 2025, 2017, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2006, and 2004 for small and medium-sized neighborhoods.
